tyc - I humbly submit that a few more details would make a more compelling case. My sense is that your judgment is good, but I am not sure I would be inclined to put real money at stake or even to do further due diligence without even knowing in what country the mine is located, for example. I am pretty sure that Northgate is in British Columbia, but that may or may not be the case.

If this were a stock-picking contest, then nothing more than a ticker symbol would be necessary. In this situation, participants need to be "sold" on a suggestion as we are simulating an investment club where members have their own real money on the line.

I don't want to turn this exercise into a chore, it should be fun. But this is also an opportunity to circulate ideas and if you are passionate enough about a company to invest not just your money but also ours in it, then it would be helpful to provide a handful of basic facts and reasons why it deserves consideration. Of course, you started this thread so you can make the rules.

Alternatively, if you send me a dollar, I will reco your post. <g>
