There is no separating out the humanitarian side of the mission. Either that, or we should not be apologizing for Abu Gharib, nor should we even bother trying to rebuild the infrastructure.

This particular thread started with Ted claiming that no one cared what condition Iraq was in until Bush came along. Such a statement ignores how much of a thorn Iraq was in the side of the free world.
