Robert Redford Hates Children

By Dirty Harry on General
Libertas

If children are going to bed hungry in America, conservatives believe it’s due to parents who need to be shot, not because the government isn’t doing enough. Liberals believe different. Liberals see America like Tom Joad did. They see America as a cold, dark place where children starve. Since that’s the case, why do they want the arts funded? Why would anyone who sincerely believes children are starving plead for more money for paintings and stuff…?

Conservatives hate the idea of taxpayers funding the arts and would no doubt be more than happy to take all that Piss-Christ money and put it into a food program for starving children. If liberals care about the children, why don’t they demand that? For the asking, liberals could have $128 million to feed starving children. But I guess they prefer their Vagina Monologues over feeding kids.

This is what a compassionate Robert Redford would say to the House of Representatives:

<<< “Mr. Chairman, because we all know George Bush and the necons will never raise taxes on the rich or defund the war to feed the children who go to bed hungry every night in America, I’m here to do the compassionate thing and ask Congress today to take that $128 million currently used to fund the arts and put it into a food program for the children.” >>>

How could anyone who honestly believes children are going hungry ask Congress for money for the arts? Is that compassion? When given the choice between feeding starving children and man-hating performance art, and you choose the latter, no, it’s not.

Also, be sure to read Michael Medved’s excellent piece on Redford’s money-grab.
