4/11/08 update
We got another one of those "Thankless Fridays" to remind us there's still lots of muck left to clean up on Wall Street. And when they closed shop for the weekend, the Nasdaq Composite Index was down -13.65% YTD, (vs. down -10.61% YTD a week ago).
Both the Nasdaq Biotech Index and the Contest portfolios were also lower for the week. The NBI closed Friday down -4.68% YTD (vs. -3.15% YTD a week ago), while the median of the Contest portfolios closed down -9.52% YTD (vs. -7.85% YTD a week ago).
At Friday's close, 7 of the 33 Contest portfolios were in the black YTD with 12 of the portfolios beating the NBI.
ROBERT's portfolio is still in first place with a 25.11% YTD gain, but second place GENE's portfolio (boosted by a big week for IOMI) is only a smidgen behind with a 23.72% YTD gain.
Enjoy the weekend folks!
