I think Cheney knew he had a tool for a boss when he was given the job of finding a VP, came back with HIMSELF, and dumbass W thought it was a good idea! Then he went on to pick his old boss and crony Rumsfeld for Sec. Def., and I'm sure Cheney knew the Iraq profit center was a done deal.

Wouldn't you love to have been a fly on the wall for the private conversations between Shooter and Rummy about the chimp Nero!
