Don't wanna argue global warming, but my point is this <g>:

the rest of the globe is buying global warming and peak oil, and they are seeking alternatives. We can let them get the technological edge and potentially end up buying from them (like we now are held ransom to Oil), or we can develop the technology, become a leader, and sell it to the rest of the world - whether we use it here or not.
