The Fed was rolled by Dimon, with the help of MER/GS/LEH/MS. (whose balance sheets were far too impaired to be able to pull it off themselves, and they didn't want to take the pain of a legitimate deleveraging). I say tough tit, they shoulda all twisted in the wind. Everyone was so quick to jump to the conclusion that the "Fed HAD to intervene". Why exactly? The GAO really should be brought into this, immediately...With the books closed, why would we assume this is anything but a highbrow stickup job? Because the fine folks at Blackwater....ERRRR, BLACKROCK say so? ROTFLMAO, give me a break!
