You appear to be arguing we should be prepared to accept another 911 rather than hold detainees who claim to be innocent.

I don't agree. Nor do I agree its illegal to hold people who wage war against the US.

The insanity of this position is, of course, that the only thing we can do to "guarantee liberty" is to kill terrorists who want to end our liberty.
