I do have a house in US sitting pretty. But the problem is the surrounding neighborhood having high foreclosure rate which affects the overall home price. I do like USA as a place for visit and travel, and I enjoyed quite a lot in southern Utah Rockies Mountiain places like that for hiking and rock climbing. But it is very sad to see people fleeing the country into island nation for economic reason. For me, I love HK ... but not necessary other mainland cities in China. I have to check out places inland of the wild west, especially the highland mountain ethnic region. I should love that part of China as well.

I bought my first home in Toronto in 87-88, cannot remember.. a measly 97K... second home for 219K... now valued maybe 475-500K.. Looks like it will come off though... things slowing down here now in earnest... how long, how deep... no idea.. but about a 20 year span (first home purchase to present)..
