There isn't all that much difference between a Scud and a F104 Starfighter when it comes to these tasks. To claim it would have never had that capability if not for SDI is, well, stupid.

You are making the claim, not me. You PROVE that the 70s-era Patriot would have evolved into the technology it is today without SDI. I didn't make the claim you did.
