Do we need more invention? or we need are countries that produces what is invented already at a affordable prices for the shirtless? The majority do't need a competiign DVD standard or discovering of new particules. This is for capital hogging countries that doesn't have what to do with the capital at hand. What is needed os to produce and make money what is already there. And that's what China is doing. The era of science take off is over and out. The science at hand is enough for the rest of this century. Look around and what you see is what I call enviro-science: scientits looking for causes of global warming and other non-sense.
