Yes. Even if the people we've been killing in Iraq really did have something to do with Al-Qaida and really did want to kill us (and some do, no doubt), how the hell are they going to get to our shores? They're poor people with no military.

Have you thought about how many people hate the US? And of that number, how many of those are ready to act on their hate and how many will never do anything? Are you then able to discern which ones you will kill and which ones you will simply monitor? Or do you kill the lot of them because that's the easiest and cleanest approach?
