"The war wasn't "made up". We were attacked."

Not by Iraq. Iraq WAS "made up".

>My son stopped his engineering studies for several years and is risking his life to fight this war. Your suggestion that I would support it for any reason other than defense of our nation is highly offensive and obviously wrong.

Not obviously wrong. You can say it over and over, and be self-righteously indignant as long as you'd like to, but there's really zero evidence that being in Iraq is making us safer. Your son is risking his life for NOTHING. I'll say it again, and you can be offended all you want to, but he's risking his life for NOTHING.

>The war wasn't "made up". We were attacked.

And then we attacked a country that had nothing to do with it. Once again, NOTHING.

My son stopped his engineering studies for several years and is risking his life to fight this war.

I hope to God he decided to fight in that war independent of your sentiments. I know that ain't likely but I still hope that its true.
