I also visited Algonquin provincial park and Lake Nipissing in the same trip, closed to Ottawa river ... the frozen ice lakes were just wonderful to watch. To my surprise, not all people in Toronto I know of actually have travelled to those isolated area far north. In one case, my car was almost stuck in mud near a frozen lake and I decided to return without further risk. I still enjoy the photos of natural sceneries in Canada ... Banff is another lovely place over the Rockies - one of the best place on earth IMHO ... I remember I encountered heavy hail storm in the area while driving ... how lovely
