OT -

The Old Testament brings out the best in the "vengeful God" stuff. I try to reconcile that with the "loving God" theory as I read the Noah's Ark story to my toddlers. You know, the one where God decides to kill everyone on earth except one family? It's a great bedtime story for the kids. <g>

No wonder I'm agnostic (at best).

Does this mean we get to kill everyone involved in this disaster? Except for any mortgage brokers who happen to be virgins? I'd really like to know.

And on a related topic, why is the Christian god so into virgins? Heck, he even fathered a kid by one. On second thought, maybe I'd better not go there ...
