You'll see plenty of bank failures over the next couple of years.

Bernanke said there's something on the order of 100 banks currently on the watch list. But there will be more.

Between 1989 and 1995 the RTC closed 747 banks or bank-like firms.

One guy told me about the practice of stock broker companies who push their customers into opening margin accounts and give them buying power without telling the customers they are in margin. So when the purchase going down the drain, the broker didn't waste any time to put the customers in debt and demand for payment.
