I tried to watch the colorized version of Casablanca, I couldn't bear it. Black and white is an art form, they should leave it alone.

Another good series Turner did was the Civil War one that depicted southern military men in a positive light. Many on the PC left didn't care for that too much....

If memory serves, The Milagro Beanfield War is based on real events that occurred in the Chalma Valley area in the early 70s. And I think it was the Bureau of Land Management that was messing with the people, not the Forestry Service.
