Yes Rolla, I own the patents for CDMA. I'm proud of CDMA because it does such a great job and I like to achieve good things. I'm helping 1.3bn Chinese get out of their Maoistic bog for example.

If that lazy good for nothing Unreal Tournament player would do something useful for a change, he would phone Hu Jintao and tell him to stop goofing around with their dopey TD-SCDMA and give full Gung Ho speed ahead to CDMA/OFDM in 450MHz with Wi-Fi as another mode [plus Bluetooth of course]. China would enjoy the best mobile cyberspace on Earth, at lowest cost, and would make umpty mega$billions. But instead they are shooting themselves in both feet with their pathetic TD-SCDMA which is stolen from Qualcomm anyway [it's not that they invented it].

They should look how well Korea did out of CDMA from the mid 1990s until now. They have made a fortune and have the best mobile cyberspace on Earth. But perhaps China's government has less intelligent people than Korea's. Apparently so.

I'd phone Hu, but my Mandarin skills need fine tuning. Even when I talk English in pidgin style to them really loudly, and wave my arms at them flat out, they still don't get it.

When high frequency cyberphones go wrong, the way to fix them is to use acupuncture: <To generate CDMA signal, you generate radiation along the way which is harmful to your brain. The higher the frequency in the channel, the more unwanted noise will be introduced. If you sell high-frequency mobile phones, the phone will likely not work again in less than 2 years because of short circuit in high-frequency capacitors. There's no quick solution into this. >

You obviously don't know how your body works or CDMA cyberphones work.

They in fact keep working for a very long time. If they are dropped in toilets, dropped on concrete or cooked in direct ozone deplete sunlight in NZ, then their life time will be reduced.

I sell ASICs of various types, Globalstar phones, OmniTRACS and all sorts of stuff. Have you heard of Gobi and Snapdragon, which are two very cool ASICs. You can see all the things I have for sale here: qualcomm.com We also license others to use the Qualcomm patents.
