re:["slider, any more thoughts on the swissie (FXF)?"]

The Swissie has remained a "conservative" place to park cash,
even relative Gold, or the Yen (the UUP is a trade weighted
US Dollar ETF):

I'll try to catch up with some more thoughts on what we're
really seeing here - later tonight.

I was up until 3 a.m. last night talking to a friend from Europe
who participates in our annual offshore trading conference.

What he told me, left me speechless...

And that's very hard to do.

Corrected chart on Swiss Franc vs. Gold, Gold Stocks, Yen, Euro, the DOW and the trade weighted U.S. Dollar...

I think I listed YEN twice - here's the corrected chart.

The Swiss Franc has outperformed gold, gold stocks, and the DOW, as well as both the YEN & the EURO - over the last 3 months and year to date for 2008.

The Swissie is presently the purest trading currency, with
the least amount of intervention. Use it to park your "cash."
