Yes, being a doctoral student you would likely be less affected than undergraduate students in your basic beliefs.

I have been fairly consistent throughout my life having developed my core political and social values early in life.

As an undergraduate, I likely did more challenging the beliefs of professors and others than I did being influenced by them.

I have often been a woman in a man's world. Mentored by a family of brothers, I learned the sciences and mathematics and of course philosophy that accompanies both from them---later engineering school to study mathematics and later a Masters in Math-----music since age 6----and numerous endeavors as an adult.

Politically, I will support and vote for a candidate who supports limited government. Most politicians want to expand government hence I am often out of sync with most politicians who are enamored with power.

Have a good evening--------I must finish the papers for the non-limited government----taxes.
