I'm thinking the retail shutdown was probably a precondition of them getting the 5 billion....attached strings are a beeotch, eh?

(Too bad they didn't make sacking the CEO a precondition...I might have been tempted to go long then.<NG>)

shoulda shorted the hell outta WAMU today, it was up almost 40 percent at one point. Added some COF April puts instead.

Futures look like the reverse of last night, Europe set to open lower too. If this kind of thing continues through this earnings period, my other April puts might still work out after all, even though I bought them way too early.

Gold and silver giving up half of today's gains.
