Let me ask a question.. Don't gold mining stocks tend to lag the actual appreciation in the price of gold, due to their hedges being valued lower than the spot price?

And consequently, as gold retraces, will not the most current hedges they've put on into that major upward move likely to benefit them as the POG declines?

I seem to recall hearing this once.. and I believe the argument was to invest in a miner that was didn't engage in hedging (Newmont?)

I'd guess it may possibly go back to Test the 89MA now .. which I linked in the post I'm responding to.

Not sure if it'll hold as support or not but I expect a wave count there if and when price arrives.
