I am equally repulsed by all the money in politics. I don't write checks to anyone for that reason. Obama and Clinton have raised around $200 million each, or more.

Campaigns should not have that kind of price tag. It's another good argument for four regional primaries a few weeks apart, instead of pouring tens of millions into one or two states with symbolic value.

If we did election by popular vote... which would be my preference.... Gore would have won in 2000. We might have had a different world. Would love a glass ball.
