Avanex Chairman, President, and CEO Jo Major welcomed this new Plan, saying, “With this plan, we fulfill the desire of many of our executives to have greater ability to directly invest in the company.” OMG.. That's hilarious!! Why not just go out and buy stock on the open market?? I would see that as a greater vote of confidence, rather than an opportunity for the company to raise capital from it's employees. But on the other hand, it's certainly better than just giving their executives options priced at $0/share. Hawk
