You know that's not a proven cause/effect. A move towards a balanced budget would improve the dollar, lower inflation....

All we have to do to close the deficit is end the war in Iraq and let the Bush tax cuts expire. That will reduce spending by $250B per year and increase revenues by $250B. If you want to close the trade deficit, then we can get into green tech in a very big way and dominate the energy technology of the future, so that we don't import any more oil. The solutions are there. We just need a leader with common sense. McSame is a rerun of Bush and neither has any common sense.
