NADINE, re. the MIDDLE CLASS...take that as a warning to republicans.

at some point decoupling becomes inevitable...esp now that the US seems to be heading for a big recession...so what have the chinese got to loose.

pss when economic times get tough the tough militarize and look for opportunities abroad as often as not.

in any case, you guys are playing with fire by thinking we are so important to the chinese that they cant let us fail.

"If history teaches anything, it is that nothing is more dangerous to a government than depriving a middle class of their dearly held aspirations. They, far more than the poor, are likely to create revolutions. That is what happened in France in 1789."

Amazing. You spout this and yet support the Bush admin who has enabled their corporate pals to rape the US middle class.

Having your cake again. I guess watching the US military kill your ages old enemy trumps their revolution creating actions on the homefront.

You and your gang are certainly worth watching carefully.
