I caught Obama live on TV today questioning Crocker and Petraeus. He's a very smart guy, a quick study, he listens. He'll learn what he needs to know in short order, appoint good people and listen to them. I have no doubt he'll do a much better job than the current occupant.

Maybe, but I doubt he can win -- I believe McCain will point out that Obama has nothing but a Velvet Voice to his credit. You can't be sure at this point, but there are a lot of unanswered questions that Obama is going to have to deal with.

You really don't get the mood of the people. I hope other GOPers are thinking like you. Unfortunately, I doubt it.
