Then you need to incease the salt and fat. Chicken necks, backs, skin etc. A lot of markets will save the backs and necks for you. Whole chicken, skin on, is good too if you have another use for the meat.

The secret to good broth is:

cooking ingredients (some meat but mostly bones and veggies) under low heat for a long time. I usually simmer mine at least over night, sometimes much longer.

whatever you do, don't boil the ingredients for your stock....

it ruins everything.
