These Democrats seem to have difficulty with words. That's because what they have to say doesn't sound too good if said simply, so they must dress it up, prevaricate and pose in an effort to make cut-and-run sound better than it is. The only one who managed it smoothly was Obama. Boy, is he smooth. It still amounted to saying to Petraeus that if he couldn't supply an exit plan that would guarantee being able to leave inside a year or eighteen months, then America should just say, "well, screw you, we've given you enough attention" to the Iraqis and leave anyway, never minding what follows. This plan Obama always describes as "prudent."
