I see Condi with a good deal of strength of character. She's gone native at State. Pushing this farcical round of peace talks onto Israel and Abu Mazen. Anybody who can see the reality of the situation knows that between pushing Abu Mazen (who couldn't deliver a cheese sandwich, let alone a peace deal) to deal, Israel to give him concessions, and showering him with yet more money and guns, she is setting Abu Mazen up to be portrayed as the Stooge of the West and Hamas will make its push for the West Bank, possibly to be opposed by the Young Guard of Fatah, who are not ready to go gently without trying for their turn at power. So all she will achieve is either a Hamas takeover or another Pal internecine battle. The State Department will blame Israeli intransigence, as it always does. The golden rule for State is: the Palestinians are responsible for nothing that occurs in the Palestinian territories. This attitude makes them popular in Arab capitals (who will fund their retirements) and in Europe.

she sure isn't a Janet Reno either. I don't know how they got away with putting such an obvious Bull Dyke in as AG. But the MSM never touched it.
