Do these companies really think that all of the American people are that dumb?

I went to a seminar on flooring and there was this woman in the front row who kept talking about going green and recycling..I finally got fed up with her...everyone was, but wouldn't speak up.

I asked her what she was going to do with padding from under a 20 year old carpet. She said it could be recycled..everyone almost threw up..
