The 7th District includes most of Seattle and Vashon Island and portions of Shoreline, Tukwila, SeaTac, and Burien. Duh. I know who McDermott is.....he represents my district. I voted for him. You poor excuses for Americans don't realize that your overdone palpitations over the pledge and the "under God" phrase is the least of Seattle's concerns......and let me remind you that Seattle is one of the more religious cities in the country with a healthy dose of Catholicism and churches.....and a very low divorce rate. There are much bigger issues facing this country than the pledge of allegiance, so please grow up!
