This is more info than you need to know...

My AGI 47.4K, (maxed 401K) S,HOH, 1 depend, std ded, taxes 4356, 9.2%; taxes with $400 carryover solar credit, $3971, 8.6%.
Think my total SS/med was 5300; I'll start getting monthly refunds in Nov. 4.5 months, they will refund the whole thing. 5 more months to get it refunded for this year. Another year or so after that, they will be refunding more than I made in some years, when I was still in school. Every month. Won't be too many years until they be giving me refunds for years before I was born :>)

You think $4000 is expensive for 2 people to get "inspected" meat, airlines what fly without running into each other, Yosemite, getting to walk barefoot in airports, produce from Fed water projects, blah blah? Not to mention Iraq.

9.2% to run the country; < some folks give to their church.

PS... went back and checked my state taxes. No solar credit, $820, 1.7%.
Not sure what we get in exchange for that. Maybe the 12K scholarship to Cal?
Freshman year, when I tried to make so little I wouldn't pay taxes, they gave the Mall Rat 16K.
