(TSX VENTURE: SBW.V) is pleased to update exploration activities at its 100% owned Nickel King and Snowbird nickel projects in southern Northwest Territories and Saskatchewan. Nickel King drilling program A second drill rig is currently being mobilized to the Nickel King project. Strongbow has contracted the additional drill in order to expedite testing of ice based geophysical targets along the southwestern extension of the Main Zone (please see News Release #08-02, February 25, 2008). The drill is expected to be turning by the end of this week and will remain at the property for approximately 8 weeks. Plans are currently being implemented for the drilling program to remain active through the spring break up period. As temperatures warm both drills will be moved to further define nickel-copper sulphide mineralization at the central Main Zone as well as test additional land based targets located elsewhere within the project. Airborne VTEM surveys The recently announced detailed VTEM surveys of select targets within the Snowbird nickel project are now complete (please see Strongbow News Release #08-05, March 25, 2008). Nine survey blocks were flown and initial review of the preliminary data indicate the surveys will provide very good resolution of the coincident magnetic-electromagnetic anomalies located at each target area. Once a more thorough interpretation has been completed a ground follow up program will be conducted in preparation for exploration drilling during the latter part of the summer. Lake sediment geochemical survey A lake sediment geochemical survey has also been completed at six target areas within the Snowbird project. A total of 46 samples were collected in an effort to complement existing lake sediment geochemical databases. The samples have been submitted to Acme Analytical Laboratories in Vancouver, BC for multi element analysis by ICP-MS after aqua regia digestion. Results for the majority of samples are pending, however initial results from the Opescal Lake area indicate anomalous nickel, cobalt and palladium values from lakes proximal to identified airborne geophysical anomalies. Results of the lake sediment survey will be used to prioritize follow up exploration work during the summer field season. Exploration programs currently underway at the Nickel King and Snowbird nickel projects are part of Strongbow's ongoing evaluation of the nickel-copper-PGE potential of the Snowbird Tectonic Zone (SBTZ). The SBTZ is a major crustal scale structure and represents an underexplored region of Canada that is prospective for magmatic sulphide nickel deposits. Strongbow maintains a 100% interest in approximately 900,000 acres of mineral claims and permits along a 240 km strike length of the southern SBTZ. Strongbow's 2008 exploration programs are conducted under the supervision of David Gale, P.Geo. (BC), Vice-President of Exploration for Strongbow and a Qualified Person within the meaning of National Instrument 43-101. STRONGBOW EXPLORATION INC. Kenneth A.
