I think the Fed and Treasury have had great success to date in dealing with systemic problems because they are able to divide and conquer. You know, deflate a tech bubble here, save a few banks here, deflate a housing bubble there, and so forth.

I think there are enough "end of world/big bad bear" fora on SI. We don't need another. However, my fear is that the problems might start to come in bunches, then we are into the "all the same market" scenario and that won't end well.

Let's just agree to trade the charts...
