Why do you think Hong Kong will be able to exchange paper fiat for productive goods ad infinitum? If US has capital controls as you forecast, why would Boeing accept HK dollars in trade for an airplane? What good does HK dollars do to any US company in a capital controlled environment?

Maybe your Argentine fears is more applicable to Money Rock?

I don't like the track that the US is on but I think Obama will win the Presidency and set us on the right track. US is not the basket case that you portray. Of course, if Obama doesn't win, then perhaps you'll be right.
