demand side vs supply side low tax vs high tax tax and spend vs borrow and spend. Actually i hate this topic because as with everying in economics you always come up with on one hand and on the other hand. And some economists have three hands. My fundamental belief is that reaganomics worked thru the clinton years. Both raised taxes at critical times. I also remember jimmy carter in sweater telling us in 1980 that we would have to learn to scale down are expectations. I bought into it them. Then i saw the power of optimism in america brought to us by reagan. Dont want obama to repeat carter mistakes.
