Thanks, tejek. I understand that Obama and Hillary had very different upbringings and, in general, I know both their Histories. However, Hillary's family background is/was not that far removed from Obama's in terms of economics. Her Grandfather on her father's side ( I think) was a mill worker in Scranton, Pa. and the family used to take trips back to PA. to visit. So they both had working class roots--hers was just another generation back, but you would have to think she was aware of it. And they both went to very elite schools and Hillary was a political animal through most of her college career. And after law school her first job, I think, was for Marion Wright Elde(r?)man (a black woman) with the Children's Defense Fund (which was trying to get legislation passed that would help kids). So what you've got here is too brainy people both going to elite schools who use their education to help other people when they get out of school. One could argue they are more alike than they are dissimilar.
