Gersh,

The sad part about everything you've written is that it has been known for years and a bunch of self serving politicians, religious right, pharmaceutical lobbies, and medical professionals seem to think that they know more about your pain than you do.

Edit: I got so pissed, i forgot the point of this....
Our fine govt works overtime to see to it that anything using precursor or resemblance to stuff like THC is a major pain the arse to order, and justify. In fact they're such pricks about some of this stuff, that we in the pharmaceutical industry would just as soon not use it and charge you extra for the honor. This goes for just about everything that is bad for the environment, or causes cancer in mice at 1000 ppms

Yes it seems a bit screwed up that we would have to develop a process to make a cancer med that prolongs the average cancer patient's life 3 months, that is free of anything that might cause anyone cancer.... but that's how your tax dollars are being used...

What I can tell you is that pain research is probably one of the bigger areas where pharma research is being directed, not just for THC like compounds but for other things such as opioids etc. Billions of bucks getting spent on hillbilly heroin, to keep you from smoking a joint.

There are lots of things in the pipeline, but the idiot fools running the show have perverted the game for so long that they've completely lost sight of the patient. In the end you'll get to pop a pill and pay a doctor for what is cheap and easily available.

Continuing to push your agenda can make a difference. It worked in California, it just needs to be better understood by the masses. Perhaps inviting about 1 million californians to live in your state?
