The health care, union, executive compensation, and crappy car issues are all subsets of "dumb management."

That we can agree on. To blame the failure of American auto makers on health care is just wrong though. America can make trucks - Paccar - and they can make sell and airplanes - Boeing - and on and on. These companies have health care. ......But in all cases you have to make a quality product that people will buy. THAT was my original point. The auto companies wandered off that and built a product - not what the world wanted - but what brought in immediate profit for them.

There is another example this morning of selling America. MLNM bought by the Japanese! We are selling our country one chunk at a time so we can buy oil from the ME and drive our SUV's.
