Sun_Tzu, what is your problem? You never heard of $600 toilet seats and gold plated hammers before? We have a well documented trail of our "high end" aerospace manufacturers moving into low end products. It is irrefutable.

What exactly does "can shift to low end goods in a pinch", mean to you, if not "quick and easy to get other sources of production"?

You should realize there is a difference between being able to do something, and being able to do it easily, quickly, and/or cheaply.
