I don't know about Iceland, but yes, I expect inflation [other than in house prices and incomes] to soar. The outcome should be at least as interesting as the financial gyrations of the 1980s.

People are moaning about fuel prices in New Zealand now, not to mention interest rates. Let's see what they think when NZ$ halves and interest rates zoom.
