I was lucky. And both jobs were in Virginia. Texas falls low on the scale of social service resources, and the El Dorado area is poor.

But there may be family members who could take them in; they may not wind up victims of the system. I think you are being very pessimistic! It's also highly possible that they will be returned to their mothers.

But again- you seem to be doubting the validity of the charges of rape or else diminishing the damages from it and from early childbirth. I was just hearing about these "marital beds" in the chapel. Things are sounding a bit kinkier. The leader was "reassigning" wives, and getting stranger.

How could we damn these young girls to this life? Welfare or rape? Hmm. I know what I would choose.
