While atrocities occur in all wars, I'm not aware of any atrocity committed by an American soldier that failed to bring about severe (usually too severe) punishment for the soldier(s) involved.

That someone you knew MAY have been roughed up a little (I stress MAY, since you do not know with any degree of certainty the claim has a factual basis) is really not a matter of consequence.

I'm not familiar with what you're talking about. If you are, you could post about it. I think you read every piece of leftwing propaganda there is and believe every word of it.

If Americans went to Afghanistan to torture innocent Afghans to death, why do we have 500 or detained in Gitmo? Shouldn't they have been tortured to death in Afghanistan too? If any innocent Afghan was killed by Americans, was it an anomoly that was punished?

But since we don't know what you're talking about, how can we know these questions.
