I'm not suggesting it is a "standard". I'm simply making the point that in the overall scheme of things, it is an immaterial event. The ONLY reason it is a significant event at all is that it was made one by the Left and the liberal media.

I'm not saying it was okay. Or that it was acceptable. Or that it should ever have happened. Only that it was insignificant.

The only organization harmed by it was the American military, and the only reason it is being mentioned now is that it is something the Left uses to bash America, however unwarranted it is.

In terms of torture and atrocity, it is not even worth mentioning. Not because the targets were who they were, but because this treatment of those individuals, while inappropriate, was harmless.

To the extent it is proven that people were physically harmed in the event, I would have a different view. But there is no proof anything beyond imposing some embarrassment on their captives ever happened.
