It's a white thing too..ask Boston politicians..I actually don't have a problem with giving out cash to the foot soldiers..why not let them get a cut?

I grew up in Philadelphia. Street money is a tradition in Philadelphia politics. I think this may be the first serious tactical mistake of the Obama campaign. It is not a black thing. This is also done in the blue collar (union) white ethic wards. Chuck Todd said on Morning Joe this morning that this will cost Obama 3 or 4% over what the polls show. I hope they come to their senses. But will reversing this decision make them open to a flipflopping charge. I think that risk is small and a reversal is the only sensible decision.
