Tenchsatsu, I'm part of the 60% of the Country in the "middle". I'm skewed to the 'left' but I'm still in the middle 60%. I just did my taxes the other day and I mentioned to my Wife that she's really dragging us down on taxes cause she's paying this higher rate because she's ONLY a school teacher and I have to grind my days away finding stocks to buy. My tax rate on my LTCG's was really cheap this year and her lousy income from spending 60 hours a week trying to teach kids was a real burden on our 1040. (I, of course said this in a VERY amusing way). Since MOST of my life was spent actually "working" HARD from the age of 13, I can't help but feel there's something NOT right about my Wife getting hit harder tax wise than I am for what we are both contributing to society at this time. If that makes me a dam n liberal....then so be it.
