i have five words for you. Richard Daly, Richard Daly Jr. Obama/HIllary were running even in the black vote more or less when oprah arrived in iowa and bill said some of those charged comments. Now it is 90/10 but truth be told, black support for obama is based on racial pride more than anything else. If obama wasnt in the race, hillary would have beaten everyone else 90-10 i suspect. Part of the reason is how out of touch the intellectual and ideological left is with poor black folks---almost as out of touch as the bushies i am afraid, albeit your motivations are better. Here comes a shocker for the thread. If obama was white, he proably wouldnt have run in this cycle but if he did, he would have exited before bill richardson and edwards. Personally i dont think this gaffe will do him in nationally but it will cause the poll numers to move up for hillary at least in PA.
