I wonder how many businesses compete against that global market. Good question. My untutored guess is a great many. But I don't have a serious clue. Just off the top of the head, I expect the percentage who don't compete against a global market is smaller than those who do, at least market cap based. The short, off the top of the head answer, is that enough to make a fairly serious lobbying bloc for universal single payer health care if they perceived it in their interest and did the collective work necessary.
