Anyone who does a lot of very useful work for us, and who we have sufficiently vetted, should probably be allowed in, but for now, they are useful where they are. Taking them all to the US, would really hurt our effort, and would also hurt the future prospects of Iraq. I still think that we could take in their families. They can do their jobs better there if they don't have to worry about their families.

But that's not the choice. They are leaving Iraq because they are in grave danger, and they are going to other countries, like Sweden. Even if that were not so, I would find your position abhorrent. It's as if you want to tell these people "Sure, your life and the lives of your family are in danger, due to a situation we created, but you're just going to have to stay there because we need you to perform a job for us." That, as opposed to, "Thank you for doing that important job for us, now let us help you by getting you out of danger." - Allen
